On Saturday, 13th June 2026, the Rotary Club of Makindye successfully conducted its Board-Elect Training at Roots Restaurant in Nakasero, under the leadership of President-Elect Mrs. Florence Najjemba Musoke.

The training brought together incoming Board members, officers and committee leaders, who were guided on their roles, responsibilities, district goals, reporting requirements and the importance of working together as one team.

 

Speaking during the training, Mrs. Florence Najjemba Musoke said:
“Strong leadership begins with preparation, teamwork and a shared commitment to service. This training has equipped us to work together effectively and make a meaningful difference in our club and the communities we serve.”

The sessions were facilitated by PAG Waira and Assistant Governor Gorette Kyeyune. Members also participated in interactive discussions and team-building activities that strengthened cooperation and created an enjoyable learning environment.

The training marked a strong beginning for the incoming leadership team and reaffirmed the Rotary Club of Makindye’s commitment to effective leadership, teamwork and service to the community.
